Carrie Finkill PhotoMrs. Finkill is a Chicago area native, who holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Psychology in and a Masters of Arts in both Professional Counseling and School Counseling. Her wide range of experience and skills produce practical insights and real-world solutions to her clients.

In 1994, Carrie began working as a youth program assistant in Danville, Illinois, providing counseling to teens, parents, and families. Since that time, she has dedicated over 18 years of service to non-profit organizations where she has implemented multi-generational programs for church groups, women’s groups, teens, and small children. These programs have significantly enhanced both the individual health of the participants and corporate effectiveness of the organizations.

In addition, Carrie is an experienced presenter and facilitator. She is a licensed school counselor, with 5 years of experience teaching in the public school setting. Her style is warm yet direct, allowing her to infuse humor and practical insights into each session while keeping the group on track. In her private practice, together with her partner Mr. Steve Finkill, she has worked on developing social media networks in the non-profit sector.

She enjoys helping clients deal with issues such as anxiety, depression, relationship issues, parenting, trauma, stress management, helping them develop healthy life skills. She works with individuals, couples, and families, with a special focus on adolescents.
